It doesn't change the fact that there is absolutely no point whatsoever in doing it, because, as pointed out by many and happily omitted by yourself (do you just not read it, or just glance over it? I'm curious.) you aren't testing a single thing. If you are happy running Furmark, by all means. So why argue, keep living in your own little world of enlightened truth. but both do have their purposes as part of a general benching or testing set up. which is exactly what its meant to do.ĭont get me wrong here i dont spend all day running furmark pretty much like i dont spend all day running prime95. i think the same thing applies to the ashes of singularity benchmark. they do stay within bios fixed temps though.īut a quick read around tells me that the radeon 7 is a bit of a kludge a not an entirely ready for market product.īut this is all about what furmark is about. One think that did show up is that the recently reviewed radeon 7 cards dont have the same kind of power limits. To stay within set power limits which are the main governor on turin cards the bios simply lowers the boost speed.

turin cards and pascal i think run within both heat and power usage limits. he heĪs i have said furmak does not overheat a modern graphics card.

I am a glutton for punishment but that advice is a tad out of date dont you think.
